The famed Beijing duck was probably way too overhyped. I felt it was hardly any better than what I had in the United States, and the other dishes were only okay, so I was honestly not impressed.

 

I skipped the next day's dinner after Aman because it was so horrific, I didn't even bother taking pictures (or eating for that matter).

The weather at the time was extremely cold and windy. Considering that and the uneven steps, it felt a bit dangerous to do, but I guess I can now say I went to the Great Wall.

The left is a tasting cup, while the right is a nosing cup. Similar to wine glasses, the smaller area the aroma can travel concentrates the smell.

One of the grand buildings, the architecture of the Forbidden City was impressive. This particular building reminded me a lot of Changdeokgung (창덕궁) in Seoul, South Korea.
