Sadly, our best meal in Beijing was a Shanghai based soup dumpling chain restaurant. It was very good, but the only problem was that we had to pay our own portion of this meal.

The veggies were tasty, even if slightly underseasoned.

The weather at the time was extremely cold and windy. Considering that and the uneven steps, it felt a bit dangerous to do, but I guess I can now say I went to the Great Wall.

The staff passed the tea around for us to smell, and also poured us a sample of each one. The tea was good, but nothing too spectacular. That being said, I still got suckered into buying some green jasmine tea for my mom and brother...
