The first lunch at Beijing (and China) was decent. There wasn't anything that stood out, but there wasn't anything bad either.

Before it comes to light, I just want to mention that I was thoroughly disappointed in the places the tour guides took us to eat in China. They were sometimes okay at best, usually quite poor, sometimes inedible. If I had to go to China again, I would thoroughly research places to eat or know locals beforehand I could trust.
