There are very few facts I knew about China before taking this course. Maybe it was the many facts, or lack thereof which I knew about that I decided to enroll in this course and learn more about a country that I really know barely anything about. These are some of the only few facts (or rumors/opinions) I know about China:

There are five Michelin Three Star restaurants in Hong Kong/Macau (none in Shanghai or Beijing). Out of the five, four are in Hong Kong, and one is in Macau.

Macau
Robuchon a Galera (French)

The two Robuchon restaurants are owned by Joël Robuchon, arguably the most influential chef of this generation.
