I take few notes when I read a text or article. Instead, I type brief notes when reading, in order to remind myself of relevant themes or page numbers that will be important to refer to later. Emphasis is placed on certain page numbers by repeating them multiple times; pages I am uncertain of are followed by question marks. Written notes vary from brief observations in shorthand to somewhat correct sentences.

These notes are collected here to provide an example of this process, rather than split into insignificant portions throughout the portfolio.
