A Hot Mess
My second draft of the third essay irritated me to no end. On a roll, I sat down and churned out the entire draft in a span of about three hours. Staring at it, I knew that it lacked key research and that the phrasing seemed off. My only options were revision and research. The comments from Professor Queen helped me improve the flow of my argument as I prepared my final paper. In my fit of annoyance, I printed out a copy of this draft and took a pencil to it, hacking away at words I did not care for and drawing arrows to include more evidence. I sectioned off portions of the essay, typing until I was satisfied. The details of these efforts can be viewed along with descriptions in the Planning section here.
