Categorizing Sources

According to every Find Your FEAT assignment, sources fall into four categories: fact, exhibit, argument, and theory. A source can be more than one. A common problem I encountered while researching for my first draft was that many sources, even scholarly sources, would grow so opinionated on this current issue that they would frequently change categories during their arguments. Also, many of the sources gave similar evidence to support their claims. If the second essay provided a lesson in finding diverse sources, this essay proved to be practice in balancing these sources. I utilized every researching method I knew to flesh out sources with a variety of information and viewpoints. This continued as my researched spanned up until the day before the final draft was due.
