This is the first part of the introduction to the background info i wrote:

 

Since ancient times, Egypt has offered the world new innovations while maintaining a distinct culture.  The creation of papyrus, the base ten (10n) number system, and a twelve-month calendar have all contributed to the rise of a modernizing world.  As part of an international community, it is every nation’s duty to attempt to preserve positive traditional aspects of a culture that has become the geographic and political focal point of an increasingly volatile region (See Appendix A).  Advancement is just as important today as it was in ancient times, and should be encouraged rather than diminished due to threats of any kind.
