Library Resources

Mugar Library offers a variety of resources to students in addition to the computer lab.

The library home page (http://library.bu.edu/) will allow you to search their print holdings for a book by author, title, or keyword. If they don't have it, you can request it through Interlibrary Loan, also linked to on the library home page. The homepage also provides links to eresources and the online journal holdings.

The eresources page (http://www.bu.edu/dbin/ejournals/esources/alpha-es.php) provides links to several searchable databases available for student use. Those particularly useful to us as a humanities course are Humanities Full-Text Online, MLA Bibliography, JSTOR, and Project Muse. For Shakespeare-related projects, EEBO (Early English Books Online) and LiOn (Literature Online) can also be also extremely useful.

RefWorks (http://www.bu.edu/library/refworks/) allows you to import references from library databases and other sources, organize them, and use them to create papers with citations and bibliographies in standard citation styles including APA, Chicago, MLA, and many others. How to use RefWorks.
