Portraits and popular images of Henry VI and Richard III.
Notice the facial feature differences in the portraits of Henry, and the lack of deformities in those of Richard.
Portraits of the Tudor Family and of James I.
In the Tudor portraits, the queen beside Henry VIII is Jane Seymour - the only wife to bear him a son (his third wife). Mary's mother (Catharine of Aragon) and Elizabeth's mother (Anne Boleyn) are conspicuously absent, though both girls are present. None of Henry's future wives will bear him any suriviving children.
